Annual fundraiser set to be the best ever!
Tickets are now available for the annual summer music festival, Pat’s Party, which takes place on Saturday 7 July in Ben Rhydding.
The first Pat’s Party took place in 2004, the brainchild of Pat Evans who sadly passed away from cancer the following year. Since then her friends and family have kept the idea alive and have raised over £100,000 for Save the Children.
This year’s party will have seven hours of entertainment featuring musicians of all ages from songbirds Anna and Imogen, to folk-star Beth Armitage, to Julian Socha, Him n Her (Irish dance music duo), Reggae Baby Jean Maclean and the rockers The Dave McEndrick Band, not forgetting of course a Circus Skills show on stage and hands-on workshop in the children’s tent. To keep people fed and watered there will be a BBQ, Indian Food and beer tent.
Gates open at 2pm and the main beneficiaries this year are Save the Children and The Gambia Project.
Tickets priced at just £6 adults and £3 for teens (children are free) are available from Ben Rhydding Primary School, Furniss Butchers, Dale Eddison and Martinez Wine Bar. Also on line at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/patspartysummer2018
