Charlotte Hawkins and her team can’t quite believe that a whole year has passed since they joined the Ilkley community of business on Cowpasture Road, Ilkley.

And it’s been a busy one with award nominations, new team members and such incredible support from this giving community!

Offering a salon with a difference, Beauty in Bloom is known to its local community for setting the example as an eco-business, opting for the most sustainable products and procedures possible.

The young business demonstrates a refreshing commitment to the environment with its partnership with Make It Wild, a Harrogate-based carbon emission offsetting business, who work with them to offset their footprint, year on year. Once Make It Wild have ascertained the amount of carbon for the year, they plant a number of trees in Summerbridge, North Yorkshire.

A collective now of nearly 10, led by Charlotte, all share a vision for providing a very high standard of hair, nails, beauty and aesthetic treatments. New treatments include Polynucleotides, BIAB nails and much more, all undertaken by passionate and perfectionist professionals.

Along with a collective of passionate, hardworking individuals, the salon provides Ilkley with an unrivalled luxurious, pampering experience with its impeccable design features, from its suspended lighting to it’s stellar coffee machine. Upon arrival guests can choose from a glass of champagne to a bowl of olives, or perhaps a fresh bake from North Street Deli – supporters of local businesses, Beauty in Bloom have quickly become part of the town.

And with a wealth of experience in bridal hair and make up, the team of well-versed are forever creating beautiful moments as they make up brides, across Yorkshire and further afield.

A tenacious and inspired business owner and a vision which never falters, here’s to the next chapter!
