As part of the Ilkley Arts Festival, Cantores Olicanae choir invite you to a concert of musical delights on Saturday 6 November 2021 at 7.30pm in St Margaret’s Church, Queen’s Road, Ilkley.
This concert highlights Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem in which he distils some of the most beautiful melodies he ever composed, plus one of his most popular works, Pavane. Also featured is the award winning choral and orchestral piece, For a Soldier Burial by Lili Boulanger, Ola Gjeilo’s entrancing arrangement of Ubi Caritas and a moving setting of the Revelation text, And I Saw a New Heaven by Edgar Bainton.
Cantors Olicanae’s talented new Musical Director, Charlie Perry, will lead the choir, soloists and chamber ensemble for this special concert of our new choral season.
