Clarke Foley Community Hub acknowledges Tesco’s year-long support

The Tesco team in the Jack Lofthouse Annex

The Clarke Foley Community Hub has expressed its heartfelt thanks to Tesco for their outstanding support over the past year.

Tesco’s contributions have made a lasting impact to the hub's resource, from helping to redecorate the Jack Lofthouse Annex to providing a generous hamper for the Christmas Lunch Club, ensuring that no one went without a festive meal during the holidays.

Thanks to Tesco's support, the Jack Lofthouse Annex has been transformed into a more welcoming and functional space for our customers as part of the hub’s refurbishment. This redesign has greatly improved the environment, allowing the hub to better serve those who rely on its services.

Joe Short, Manager of Clarke Foley Community Hub, expressed his gratitude:

"On behalf of everyone at Clarke Foley Community Hub, I would like to extend our deepest thanks to Tesco and Sarita for their generosity. Their support has had a huge impact on our community. From the fantastic transformation of the Jack Lofthouse Annex to the thoughtful hamper donation for Christmas, Tesco has truly gone above and beyond. We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and look forward to continuing our work together in the year ahead."

A special thanks was expressed to Sarita Prashar, Ilkley’s Tesco Manager, whose dedication and hard work made these initiatives possible.

Mr Short finished by saying:

“Sarita’s commitment to making a positive difference in our community has truly been invaluable.”

A plaque will be installed at the Clarke Foley Community Hub to acknowledge the support received from Tesco, as well as the fantastic contribution of their colleagues. This plaque will serve as a reminder of the important role local businesses play in helping us create a stronger, more connected community.
