Council to host a 2nd Covid Facebook Live Q&A


Ilkley residents of will once again get the chance to put questions to Bradford District's key decision makers and health experts about the COVID-19 response.


Bradford Council will host a second Facebook Live Q&A session on Tuesday 22 December from 12.30-14.00.


The Leader of Bradford Council, Cllr Susan Hinchcliffe and Director of Public Health for Bradford District, Sarah Muckle, will be joined by Nancy O’Neil from NHS Bradford District and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Professor Dinesh Saralaya a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (BTHFT), to share their knowledge and insight.


In this session the panel will take questions on issues such as celebrating Christmas safely, current restrictions, COVID testing and vaccines.


Leader of Bradford Council, Cllr Susan Hinchcliffe, said: “Our first Q&A session was really worthwhile with lots of interesting and incisive questions. With Christmas approaching and the positive news of a vaccine, we wanted to give residents of the district the opportunity to once again ask us and our health colleagues about some of the current COVID issues.


“We’re delighted to welcome Nancy O’Neil and Professor Saralaya along to the panel for this session, and we look forward to them sharing their knowledge and experience, particularly on COVID vaccines."


You will need access to a Facebook account in order to ask a question at the sessions. The panel will try and answer as many questions as possible during the time available


Some questions may not be taken by the panel if not relevant to the theme or the Council. Questions will also not be answered if it requires the disclosure of confidential or exempt information. If it is deemed offensive or inappropriate the question will be removed.
