Disruption as landslip closes Ilkley-Shipley line

Northern is warning rail users to expect disruption to train services this afternoon (Thursday) after a landslip was discovered between Shipley and Ilkley.

Services are unable to run in both directions between Ilkley and Bradford Forster Square on the Wharfedale Line.

A replacement bus services has been arranged to run between Guiseley and Shipley.

Services between Ilkley and Leeds, and Leeds and Bradford Forster Square are not affected.
