An exhibition of unique stitched art, fabric items and quilts will take place on Saturday 8th October between 10.30am and 3.30pm in Ben Rhydding Scout Hut, Wheatley Lane, Ilkley.
Final year students of teaching and design company, Quilting Smiles are displaying a wide range of works inspired by the “Passion for Stitch” course taught by former local resident Yvette Redding. Refreshments are being served and there will be stalls selling fabric and craft book.
The exhibition is dedicated to Su Meddis, a friend of Yvette’s and fellow-stitcher, who sadly died earlier this year - proceeds will be donated to her chosen charity, Fine Cell Work. .
Admission is only £2 including a free hot drink.
