IN-HOUSE CLEANER – ILKLEY LAWN TENNIS & SQUASH CLUB

20 hours/week, permanent.

Join our friendly team at Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club, known as the Wimbledon of the north. We need a dedicated cleaner to keep our clubhouse, fitness facilities spotless.

Duties:

- Clean communal spaces, offices, and viewing areas.

- Deep clean showers and washrooms to high standards.

- Manage waste and restock supplies.

- Improve the cleanliness and member experience

- Help with major event preparation

CHEMIST/SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR – WOOLSAFE, OTLEY

We are looking for a Chemist or Scientific Advisor to work with WoolSafe on a consultant basis. The successful candidate will advise the WoolSafe laboratory technologist, develop testing protocols, carry out research and reply to clients on questions related to chemistry and product formulations.

Requirements: Degree in Chemistry. Understanding of chemical formulations.

Our transport team is recruiting for a HGV Driver to handle and deliver chemicals to our customers throughout the UK on articulated curtain side lorries and tanker vehicles. The role will also involve loading/unloading deliveries and duties in our production area.

Volunteers needed for our Befriending and ShopAssist projects. PRE-SCHOOL TRUSTEES – ILKLEY PRE-SCHOOL

Ilkley Pre-School is a non-profit charitable organisation that provides high quality learning environment for children.

We are looking for a new board of trustees from Jan ‘26

The trustee role is voluntary, unpaid position. The trustees meet every 6-8 weeks for an hour to discuss the developments of pre-school and to help plan next steps. We are looking for people with a financial background to take on the treasurer role, people to assist with marketing,fundraising and a new chair who will liaise with OFSTED and be the main contact with the Pre-school manager.

MARIE CURIE COMPANION VOLUNTEERS

Throughout West Yorkshire & Craven The Companion Service supports people in West Yorkshire & Craven who have a terminal illness or life limiting condition. Would you be able to spare up to 3 hours per week supporting with companionship such as accompanying to appointments, making a meal with the client and/or listening and having a chat over a cup of tea. ILKLEY COMMUNITY TRANSPORT

Would you like to help your local community and join the friendly team at Ilkley Community Transport? We are a registered charity based in Ilkley and are always looking for CAR DRIVERS to provide lifts primarily to medical appointments for residents in the Ilkley and Addingham area who find public transport difficult to access due to age, illness or disability. Volunteers use their own cars and claim expenses for fuel at a pre-agreed rate. Drivers must be over 21, and have held a full licence for at least 2 years.
