POST OFFICE & RETAIL STOCK CNTROLLER – BOLTON ABBEY

A great opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Retail team. The role includes the day to day running of the Post Office and the control and management of stock levels in the Cavendish and Village Shops.

The role would be suited to an individual who is organised and efficient, IT literate, enjoys responsibility and engaging with colleagues, members of the community and visitors alike to provide a helpful, friendly and informative service.

Volunteers needed for our Dementia Café which runs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month between 1-4pm. Volunteering is on a rota to suit your availability. Volunteers needed for our Befriending and ShopAssist projects. Both require a weekly commitment of between 1-2 hours, with ShopAssist taking longer to include the practical element of the supermarket shop. Volunteers will be looking to make a social connection and have the time and patience to take the interactions at the client’s pace. We are a registered charity based in Ilkley and are always looking for CAR DRIVERS to provide lifts primarily to medical appointments for residents in the Ilkley and Addingham area who find public transport difficult to access due to age, illness or disability. Volunteers use their own cars and claim expenses for fuel at a pre-agreed rate. Drivers must be over 21, and have held a full licence for at least 2 years.
