Ilkley Half Marathon: Road Closures and Event Village

Ilkley and District Round Table are organising the 4th Ilkley Half Marathon, which will take place on Sunday 16th July 2023.

The event will see 2,000 runners take to the roads of Ilkley, Addingham and Nesfield in what promises to be a fantastic addition to the Yorkshire sporting calendar.

A spokesperson said "Of course, putting on an event like this does mean some road closures. The route may pass by your home so please study the road closure information carefully. This promises to be a fantastic event for our local community and we hope you’ll be able to enjoy it with us. All roads will be closed from 9.30am and will reopen as the last runner passes. Anticipated timings for the last runner passing are on the flyer, which is being delivered to houses on the route by Royal Mail."

The road closure flyer can be downloaded HERE.

There is free entry to the event village on West Holmes Field where there will be live music, food vendors to suit all culinary tastes, a well-stocked beer tent, and once again, the Royal Air Force have promised a flyover at the end of the day!

To occupy the energetic young ones, for only £10, children will be able to enjoy unlimited use of the bouncy castles, slides and bungees all day.

All of the proceeds from the event will be put back into our community, providing much needed financial support to local charities and groups. If you’d like to apply for funding please email communityservice@ilkleyroundtable.org.uk.

Limited spaces remain and entries close at 12:00 on Thursday 13th July, for more information please visit ilkleyhalfmarathon.co.uk
