The Ilkley Food and Drink Festival has announced Paul Heaton & Olly Murs tributes in celebration of milestone event.

The festival in June has announced the eagerly awaited line-up for its annual event on East Holmes Field, promising attendees a fusion of culinary delights and captivating live-music against the backdrop of the scenic riverside locale.

Set to take centre stage on Saturday, June 15th, are The Beautiful Martins, tribute to the timeless music and prosperous career of Paul Heaton. With renditions of classics from The Beautiful South, The Housemartins, and Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbot, attendees can experience an electrifying atmosphere soundtracked to beloved hits such as ‘Rotterdam (Or Anywhere)’, ‘Happy Hour’, and ‘D.I.Y’.

Accompanying The Beautiful Martins on the Saturday are a plethora of magnificent performers: the talented Will Forrester on the saxophone; community-built Joy Choir and their modern rock & pop renditions; Howlin Mat with their soulful blues; Chipsticks with their captivating acoustic covers, and The Broken Flowers Band with their unique country rock.

Attendees on Sunday, June 16th, are invited to experience another fantastic tribute in the form of Oli as Olly Murs, who’s set to capture the charisma and stage-presence of the pop sensation of the 2010’s. With a setlist composed of classics such as ‘Troublemaker’ and ‘Dance with Me Tonight’, festival-goers can anticipate a buzzing atmosphere backed by nostalgic chart-toppers. Alongside Oli are an abundance of talented local acts: the award-winning contemporary group Rock Choir; Leeds City Stompers with their red-hot blues; the original country-rock of Between The Vines, and Knucklefuzz with their renditions of rock ‘n’ roll classics.

Beyond the stellar live music, festival goers can enjoy a wide array of entertainment, including a Live Cookery Theatre partnered with Yorkshire Food Guide, a Live Entertainers Stage, Kids Activities, Roaming Comedy, a Funfair & Inflatable Land, and more, ensuring a day of amusement tailored to all ages.

For the food enthusiasts, the renowned Street Food Arena awaits, boasting a delectable array of global cuisines; from Yorkshire favourites to Mexican Tacos and Bao Buns, the event ensures a gastronomic journey through a plethora of culinary delights. Alongside this are the incredible Artisan Markets host to over 110 market traders showcasing local produce, fresh-baked goods, hand-made crafts, and local art. Thirsty festival-goers can enjoy a range of independent bars, alongside a full ale-house featuring craft ales and cask favourites.

In steadfast commitment to supporting the local community, the festival will partner with Bradford Mind in hope of adding to the over £100,000 raised for mental health initiatives across the North.

Organisers anticipate thousands to join the celebration on East Holmes Field for Ilkley Food & Drink Festival this summer, June 15th-16th.
