After a phenomenal debut last year, PippaFest is back and bigger than ever.
The family-friendly music festival returns to Burley-in-Wharfedale on Sunday 3 May with an incredible 11-hour programme of live music, bringing the community together for a day of celebration, remembrance and fundraising.
Held in memory of Pippa Simpson, a talented singer/songwriter who sadly passed away in 2024 from brain cancer, age 25. PippaFest was created to honour her wish of an annual festival in support of the vital work of Teenage Cancer Trust — a charity very close to the hearts of her family and friends.
Last year’s event was a sell-out success, drawing huge support from the local community and beyond. This year promises even more, with a fantastic line-up of live bands and performers throughout the day, alongside:
- A variety of incredible street food vendors
- A fully stocked bar
- Fun activities and games for children
- A welcoming, festival atmosphere for all ages
PippaFest is a ticket-only event held at Ghyll Royd School, and with demand already high following last year’s sell-out, organisers are encouraging people to buy early to avoid disappointment.
More than just a music festival, PippaFest is a celebration of life, community spirit and coming together for a cause that makes a real difference to young people facing cancer.
