See two Shakespeare plays in one performance

Over the Bank Holiday weekend, Ilkley Playhouse will be presenting Bard in the Yard incorporating two half-hour Shakespeare plays in one performance.

The first is the iconic Macbeth directed by Andrew Leggott, full of murder, mayhem, ghosts and witches.

This will be followed by romantic comedy Twelfth Night directed by Dick Hebbert complete with cross-dressing identity confusions and cross-gartered yellow stockings.

The plays will be performed in the Wildman Theatre on Saturday 28 August at 7.30pm., tickets are available from www.ilkleyplayhouse.co.uk.

If you fancy a bit of outside entertainment, the plays will also be performed in The Manor House Courtyard on Sunday 29 and Monday 30 August at 2pm. Tickets are available direct from Ilkley Manor House.

Ilkley Playhouse would like to give thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund for funding this community project as part of their #CelebrateNationalLottery25.
