Seven new homes planned on Addingham green belt land

Plans have been submitted to Bradford Council for a seven property development on the edge of Addingham.

The applicant and landowner is Jaycee Estates LLP, and the site covers two fields off Main Street and close to the A65 Addingham bypass,

Currently used for the grazing and stabling of two horses, the Design & Assess Statement within the application says the site lies just outside the Addingham Conservation Area boundary and is not identified as an important part of its setting or an important open space.

The application claims the land meets the criteria for grey belt under the new National Planning Policy Framework.

The seven house would all be farmhouse style two-storey, with a mixture of integral, detached and attached garage provision, and the application says the dwellings would be 'high quality, beautiful and sustainable buildings'. A total of three visitor parking spaces would be provided.
