Weather Warnings – what do they mean?

Yellow warnings are issued when it is likely the weather will cause some low level impacts, including some disruption to travel in a few places.

Amber warnings mean there is an increased likelihood of impacts from severe weather, which could potentially disrupt your plans. This means there is the possibility of travel and delays, road and rail closures, power cuts and the potential risk to life and property.
