Rotary recycling day a success again

Ilkley Wharfedale Rotary Club would like to thank everyone who donated unwanted items at their collection in Ilkley's main car park last Saturday, despite the rain.  

 

The club collected 102 bikes, 20 sewing machines, 3 vanloads of assorted hand/power tools & workshop equipment, 85 pairs of spectacles, 4 wheelchairs, 4 rollators and a variety of mobility aids.

 

All these items were taken for refurbishment by partner charities and will be put to good use by people who need them but can’t afford them.
