The Macmillan Mobile Information and Support Service (MISS) Bus is to visit Ilkley on Wednesday 11 September and will be parked in the South Hawksworth Street Car Park between 9am and 3pm.
Anyone is able and welcome to visit the bus whether you have a cancer diagnosis, have a friend or relative affected by cancer, are a carer or are worried about cancer in any way at all, there are lots of ways that via the bus, Macmillan can give support - medically, financially, emotionally and practically.
A dedicated mobile team of highly qualified Macmillan professionals travel across the UK to cities, towns and villages on a fleet of six big green buses named Basil, Bertie, Beryl, Betty, Bronwen and Dougie. The buses park up in public places that are easily accessible from markets, to shopping centres, libraries to car parks.
