Ilkley Manor House’s courtyard will be a hub of creative activity this weekend, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June.
Once again the courtyard will be filled with stalls offering ceramics, cards, homeware, paintings, jewellery, gardening tools, metalware, woodwork, gifts, and more for the Summer Makers' Fair.
Small businesses and artistic makers will be selling their beautiful wares from 10am to 5pm each day, and visitors can enjoy entertainment from local bands Park Avenue Jazz Quartet and Sand Dollar, an Americana trio.
Andreea Chitan, Events Lead for Ilkley Manor House, says, “Ilkley Manor House will once again be transformed into a vibrant marketplace. This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, support local artisans, and enjoy wonderful music and refreshments in the courtyard. We can’t wait!”
Weather permitting, the Summer Makers’ Fair will take place outside in the courtyard on Saturday, 29 June and Sunday, 30 June between 10am and 5pm. After shopping for gifts and treats at the fair and then join the rest of the team inside Ilkley Manor House. The House is a Grade I-listed medieval building, home to a permanent heritage display with some artefacts that are thousands of years old!
Upstairs, you will find the Solar Gallery filled with more ceramics, textiles, jewellery, paintings, cards, and prints created by our group of local artists. Their current theme is ‘The Overlooked’.
