An elderly man was freed by local fire crews following an accident on Addingham bypass this afternoon, Tuesday 20 July.
The collision left the car on its side and the man trapped inside, extrication was carried out by fire service and paramedics, and the he was transported to hospital by ambulance.
The accident was reported at 13:52 and the A65, Addingham Wharfedale Road has remained closed all afternoon.
Fire crews from Silsden and Keighley attended.
