Nominations open in MP's Small Business Awards

Ilkley MP Robbie Moore has launched his 2026 Small Business Awards, asking the public to vote for their favourite small independent business.
The competition will award four businesses the accolade of Best Small Business for the areas of Keighley, Ilkley, the Worth Valley and Craven, before an overall winner of the four is announced.
Last year, local greengrocers Oliver and Green in Silsden took the overall crown following the public vote. Also winners last year were Windle House Farm in the Worth Valley, Switch Hitters Boxing Club in Keighley and Jacqui Mac Aesthetics in Ilkley.
Robbie will visit each of this year’s winners with prizes to celebrate their awards.
Commenting on the opening of the competition, Robbie said: “I know how challenging it is right now for our small independent local businesses right now with rising costs and growing regulation making it difficult for them to get on and grow.
"These businesses are the lifeblood of our local economy and give our area its distinct character. That's why after such a fantastic competition last year, I am delighted to launch my annual Small Business Awards 2026 in the run up to Christmas.
"I am inviting everyone across Keighley, Ilkley, Craven, and the Worth Valley to nominate their favourite small business. Now - more than ever - does our small business community need to be celebrated and supported, so let’s all get behind them. Good luck to all!”
Residents can nominate and vote for their favourite small business by visiting https://www.robbiemoore.org.uk/news/nominate-your-favourite-small-business to take part.
The deadline for nominations is Friday 11 December 2026.
