As part of Ilkley Pride 2022, local school children were asked to produce a patch to represent what made them ‘unique’.
Their wonderful creations were then sewn together last weekend at Ilkley Operatic House into the first ever Ilkley Pride flag by local sewers from The Ilkley Scrubs Group, The Big Get Together & Ilkley Soroptimists.
Ilkley Pride & Diversity would like to thank pupils from Moorfield School, Ashlands Primary School and Ilkley Grammar School; and the local sewers who gave up their Saturday.
The Flag will be on display at Ilkley Pride on Saturday 2nd of July at The King's Hall and Winter Garden between 12 and 10pm and afterwards at Ilkley Manor House.
Copies will be Flown at Ilkley Grammar School, Town Hall, Brook Street and at White Wells.
