Family fun at Bradford Libraries this Easter


Bradford Council’s Libraries Service is offering a host of fun family friendly activities to encourage book-sharing and reading during the Easter School Holiday.

The libraries are free to use and have thousands of books to enjoy and will be holding special activities at libraries across the district.


Libraries will be reading stories and singing rhymes and there will be craft activities including making fluffy bunnies, designing Easter eggs, decorating bird houses, building Easter baskets, and creating Easter plant pots.

Menston Library, Thurs 21 March 3.30pm Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Egg Crafts

Ilkley Library, Thurs 28 March 2.00pm Easter Crafts

Keighley Library, Sat 30 March 11.00am Story Time & Fluffy Bunnies Crafts

Silsden Library, Weds 3 April 2.00pm Story Time & Easter Eggs Crafts

Ilkley Library, Thurs 4 April 2.00pm Easter Crafts


Also at Ilkley, Burley and Menston libraries on Monday 25th March they will be a free interactive musical mystery for 8- to 12-year-olds by Clare Povey and Northern Opera Group. Join detectives to track down clues within the library to find the rare and mysterious ‘Book of Eternity’.
