Ilkley couple Lyn and Phil Short will be opening their garden today (Wednesday 25th) and Sunday (29th June) 11-4 as part of the charity, National Garden Scheme.

NGS's core beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and The Queen’s Nursing Institute.

The address is 5 Hill Top, Westwood Drive, LS29 9RS: "Delightful ⅔ acre steep garden on edge of Ilkley Moor. Sheltered woodland underplanted with naturalistic, flowing tapestry of foliage, shade-loving flowers, shrubs & ferns amongst large moss-covered boulders. Many Japanese maples, natural rocky stream and bridges. Meandering gravel paths & steps lend magic to ‘Dingley Dell’. Lawns, large rockery, & summerhouse with stunning views. Some steep steps."
