Ilkley Manor House is ready for the Spring

The outdoor exhibition of aerial photos of Ilkley from 1940s – 1980s

Though the Ilkley Manor House isn’t able to open its doors to the public just yet they are still putting on some events to welcome the Spring.

The Spring programme is now out with a range of events and exhibitions focused on the outdoor courtyard and online. Information about all the events happening during the Spring are available to view on the website now –

On 5th April 2021 we will celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Manor House Trust taking over the house from Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

Sarah Thomas, Chair of Ilkley Manor House Trust, said: "It is a shame that we are not able to celebrate this in the house, but we are planning a ‘Super at 60’ event later in the year with an exhibition about the transformation of the Manor House into an museum and art gallery in the 1960s and how it has developed since then.

"We are continuing to plan for the house reopening later in the Summer and we are really excited to be getting ready to put on the exhibition of the Ilkley Lockdown Community Quilt and creative responses to the lockdowns. Our current plan is to open this exhibition at the end of July
