Live music announced for Ilkley Food and Drink Festival

Returning after the pandemic brought the live entertainment industry to a sudden halt, Ilkley Food and Drink Festival boasts a wide variety of live music and performers returning to Ilkley's East Holmes Field on 12th-13th June 2021.

The jam-packed line up boasts singers and musicians from across the UK, showcasing a range of styles including pop, soul, jazz and blues that will be the backdrop to a weekend full of food, drink and independent Artisan Market stalls.

Artists include Will Forrester, a jazz and classical saxophonist with over 20 years’ experience, and Jess Simpson, a solo vocalist who will be covering blues, soul and pop from the 1950s all the way to 2019. Also attending will be The Yorkshire Puddings comedy duo, and a Rock Choir, guaranteed to add some excitement to your weekend in the sun.

“We are very lucky to have so many talented musicians showcasing with us this year - there truly is something for everyone, and the festival really promises to be an escape from what has been a very quiet, and for some a lonely year, and welcome back the community to celebrate together.” said Hannah Dewhirst, Festival Coordinator.

Thousands of food lovers are expected to attend the festival at the riverside in Ilkley, with an expanded Artisan Market, Entertainers & Street Performers, Kids Activities, Wellbeing Activities, and a variety of live jazz, pop and acoustic Music from local artists.

The festival will once again run additional activities throughout the festival to raise funds and awareness for charity Mind in Bradford, having raised over £18,125 over the past four years for local mental health charities.
