Council to run Saturday collections for missed bins this week
Bradford Council today apologised for missed bin collections in parts of the district this week and announced crews will work on Saturday to empty the bins that were not collected. Damaged caused as Christchurch is hit by lightning
A lightning strike on Thursday morning hit Christchurch on The Grove causing damage to its spire, lightning conductor and water pipes. Around 8am, the lightning strike reportedly hit the church spire and blew the lightning conductor off the side of the building. The conductor then punctured a hole in the water pipes above the toilet corridor, outside the café entrance, causing flooding.
